As the Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of Product Managers responsible for shaping and executing a strategy that drives direct revenue within our Cloud Storage portfolio and fosters customer adoption of our broader Cloud Computing portfolio.

As a Director Product Management, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the product vision for our Cloud Storage portfolio, including Object Storage, Block Storage, and CDN Storage.
• Developing a comprehensive product strategy, crafting a roadmap, and executing a plan to deliver innovative capabilities for developers.
• Prioritizing and translating customer feedback into actionable features, serving as a great advocate for the customer.
• Acting as a thought leader and evangelist for Akamai's products within developer communities.
• Mentoring and leading a team of skilled product managers, driving their growth and collective success.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or its equivalent.
• Have extensive experience with product management, go to market strategy and product development.
• Have hands on experience with cloud storage solutions including object storage, block storage or relevant cloud computing technologies.
• Demonstrate experience launching/managing cloud products.
• Be passionate about making world class products that customers love.
• Be self-motivated, have effective communication skills and be able to influence and motivate others.
