Your way to impact

  • Lead communication efforts around major product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Conceptualize and execute innovative campaigns that place PayPal at the intersection of culture, lifestyle, and consumer finance.

  • Partner with product, marketing, and creative teams to develop comprehensive communication strategies.

  • Develop and execute strategic earned media plans to elevate PayPal’s consumer products and brand presence.

  • Create compelling stories that leverage news, pop culture and consumer trends, and lifestyle narratives to enhance brand relevance and position PayPal as a leader in the consumer financial services space.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top-tier lifestyle, consumer, personal finance, fintech and business media and influencers.

  • Support executive communications for senior leaders, including crafting talking points, internal updates, op-eds, and social media content, etc.

  • Develop internal communication strategies that align employees with key product and marketing initiatives.

  • Collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners and key stakeholders in the Consumer business and company.

What do you need to bring-

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of the fintech industry and evolving consumer financial services landscape.

  • Proven leader with the ability to develop and deliver consumer centric campaigns and narratives that capture media & consumer attention.

  • Expertise in executive communications and social media strategy, with experience in supporting senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and manage multiple agency relationships and manage high-impact campaigns.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling stories and impactful messaging.

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with consumer, lifestyle, and business media.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a high level of creativity and strategic thinking.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $109,000 to $156,200
