Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program which has included: AC & DC electrical systems; electrical drafting; electrical circuit construction; 12KV, 480/277V, 208/120V, and low voltage circuits; transformer theory; 3 phase induction 3 motors, VFD’s; conduit bending and installation; installing and pulling wire; power distribution panels; motor control and electrical switch devices; relay & pneumatic control; National Electrical Building Code.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years of experience performing electrical distribution installations.
- Strong knowledge of the NEC & OSHA requirements
- Hold a Valid CA Driver’s License.
- Is legally authorized to in the United States.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and constantly moving on your feet.
- Ability to climb and stand on all types of ladders.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with good cross-functional skills, willing to help adjacent departments.
Required Certification
- Active Electrician Trainee Card or Certified Journey Worker Certification.
Preferred Certifications
- Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program described below working directly under the supervision of a qualified Journey Electrician.
- Controls, PLC, BMS, BAS, SCADA a plus.
