As our Roadway Project Manager, you will be responsible for the technical design and management of roadway design projects throughout Florida. Key Responsibilities of the Roadway Project Manager:
- Serve as Project Manager for key roadway and bridge design projects including operational and safety improvements.
- Provide technical expertise by formulating and developing advance design concepts, techniques, and standards.
- Assuring effective utilization of engineering personnel and technical quality.
- Professional years’ experience in transportation/highway engineering and management of design projects
- Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university
- Florida Professional Engineer PE license and ability to serve as Engineer of Record
- Previous experience with design of roadway/highway facilities and management of similar projects
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership abilities
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local design guidelines including the FDOT Florida Design Manual (FDM) and Standard Plans
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Experience as a project manager delivering projects for FDOT District’s One and/or Seven
- Limited access, toll road, and interchange design experience
- Experience designing or managing design build projects
- Proficiency in MicroStation and Open Roads Designer
