• At least 7 years demonstrated experience with DOTs and Local Government project experience
• Previous experience serving as a project manager for transportation infrastructure projects
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited University
• Demonstrated experience on various types of roadway design projects including design and plan development of new and rehabilitation highway projects
• Proficiency with MicroStation and Open Roads Designer and a variety of transportation engineering analysis and design software
• Understanding of and practical experience applying the AASHTO design guidelines to transportation projects.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, time management skills
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills
Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in either North Carolina, Tennessee or Georgia (or ability to attain license within 6 months)
• An emphasis on transportation projects with prior DOT experience in Tennessee
