Manage data related to classification and accountability, conducting root cause analysis, prioritizing issues, developing remediation plan, and implementing effective tactical and strategic solutions
Manage senior relationships with Data stakeholders to develop, execute, and implement Data Quality management policies, procedures and capabilities including continuous improvement, monitoring, control, and governance of Data Quality
Drive data quality resolution and lead data improvement initiatives, and/or
Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions
Oversee metrics reporting process and/or completion of data consumption demand from strategic data repositories
Report Data Quality issues through Citi’s corresponding Data/Issue management process
Lead project management activities and create presentation materials to support senior management strategic vision
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable rules, laws, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred
Experience defining and implementing data quality programs
Communicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Collaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectives
Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levels
Optimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement. Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the “big picture” while paying close attention to detail
Organizational savvy: understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them.
