The US Licensing Senior Analyst at PayPal is responsible for managing the preparation and filing of state license applications and renewals across the United States. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. The position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and communicating progress on key initiatives to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate governance is in place for critical Licensing information

  • Ensure compliance with all license requirements held

  • Communicate progress toward key licensing initiatives to senior leaders

  • Complete applications for new licenses and license renewals to enable PayPal's product offerings

  • Prepare quarterly, semiannual, annual and any other miscellaneous state reports

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to source data and other requirements to fulfill reporting demands

  • Review state regulatory requirements and update PayPal procedures and calendars to ensure compliance

  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing workstreams in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in the preparation of state regulatory reports preferred (including money transmission, gaming and lending)

  • Experience in use of Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System ("NMLS") preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems in an innovative manner

  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
