The Red Hat Ecosystem Sales team is looking for a Partner Account Manager to join us in Shanghai. In this role, you will oversee go-to-market sales activities across our hybrid cloud solutions portfolio. You’ll manage and develop strategic relationships with our key partners to guide sustainable long-term growth and accelerate the adoption of our innovative solutions. As a Partner Account Manager, you will also develop, implement, and manage joint business plans that identify key growth areas in the partner organization to help increase revenue and capitalize on Red Hat technologies.

What you will do

  • Own partner success with Red Hat and develop strategic accounts plans with your partner(s)

  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner

  • Work with partner(s) to promote sales, educate on Red Hat offerings and focus on joint solutions and opportunities and on creating and guiding those partner sales initiatives

  • Ensure the partner has both sales and technical capability to successfully sell and promote Red Hat products

  • Work with partners to demonstrate how Red Hat solutions and technologies can be integrated in their offerings to deliver a higher ROI and ensure Red Hat remains on top of partners mind

  • Promote executive engagement on an ongoing basis to ensure key strategies for increasing Red Hat's footprint in partner customer accounts

  • Collaborate with other verticals to help promote their business objectives through the partner ecosystem

  • Establish and track joint business goals and KPIs

  • Take responsibility for recruitment and enablement of business partners and solutions providers

  • Facilitate partner escalations within Red Hat

  • Plan quarterly partner investments (MDF)

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.

  • Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.

What you will bring

  • Have channel sales management, 15+ years work experience

  • Ability to grow ecosystem in multi-product company

  • Have hybrid cloud business development experience and the business good result

  • Solutions driving ability and the related business achievements

  • High level influence and go2MkT, contributing to the significant revenue

  • Experience ensuring results through business partners and the ability to inspire partner executive trust

  • Working well in heavily matrixed environments

  • Excellent communication skills in English language

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

It will be a plus to have

  • Experience building strategic relationships and developing the business with partners

  • Ability to translate partner business needs into joint solutions and manage those initiatives

  • Have IT technical or consulting and project management background
