Role Overview:
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a diverse team of 20+ software engineers, both on-site and off-site, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
• Work closely with stakeholders from business, product, and enterprise engineering teams to align software development with strategic objectives.
• Champion the Agile process throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and feedback.
• Drive the timely delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging the team to innovate and optimize processes for efficiency.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring they deliver added capabilities to the organization as required.
• Oversee the career development and growth of team members, providing mentorship, and ensuring a high level of team engagement and morale.
Core Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in software development and team leadership, with a solid track record of managing large-scale software projects.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external vendors and partnerships.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Leadership qualities that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.
• Technical expertise in the following areas are highly preferred: web application development with java or .net, microservice architecture, API design and development; event driven architecture; SQL, CICD; monitoring, automate testing.What We Offer:

Job Description
  • Manages development projects, development teams and application support functions.
  • Oversees multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs.
  • Monitors and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
  • Maximizes staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
  • Analyzes applications to ensure that all systems that are developed, meet business needs and specifications.

Agile Development, Application Delivery Process, Application Development Tools, Coaching Others, Design Thinking, IT Environment, Software Process Improvement (SPI), System TestingRoles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required.
