Key Responsibilities

• Manages the Montana based plastic and metals machining center which supports Applied Materials business units with precision parts

• Establishesproject schedules, timelines, and controls, whilemonitoringproduction metricsandbudgetsthroughbusiness processes andsystems

• Plans and evaluatesoptimalresourceutilizationand efficiency of operation to minimize costs and allow for on-time delivery ofproductto customers.

• Leads continuous improvement efforts and projects to refine production methods andautomateprocesses to produce quality products

• Identifiesand pursues newequipment and softwaretechnologies to improve production,cycle time,efficiencyand resourceutilization

• Provides senior leadership, guidance, mentorship, and personal development of his/her direct reports in the areas of daily operational management, systems development, and optimization.And ensures that all direct reports are sufficiently skilled,trained, and performtheir functions inefficientmanner.

• Identifiesprocess and quality changes designed to improve manufacturing or department capabilities.  Drives Lean, Safety and Quality.

• Directs, guides, monitors, and evaluates personnel toaccomplishspecific production, housekeeping, and safety procedures and processes (6S)
