You will be responsible for bringing together the insights and strategy to develop coordinated storytelling campaigns and experimenting through new brand and audience initiatives leveraging the full marketing funnel and channels (owned, earned, paid) to tell the story of the Venmo brand and Venmo’s core value proposition, driving awareness, comprehension, and intent that inspires people to choose and use Venmo every day.

What the job involves

  • new ideasto the table and execute across creative, media, channels and formats that can best tell our Venmo story (e.g., sponsorships, sponsored content, influencer partnerships, events, display, social, search, etc.).

  • Work withtheproductmarketing team and stakeholders in brand to develop and execute awareness and consideration campaignsfor priority Venmo products

  • providingstrong creative guidance and influencing stakeholder buy-in on concepts, and manage production in tandem with production and creative teams

  • Lead with influence in a matrixed organization and work with internal partners and external agencies to deliver world-class marketing campaigns and programs to achieve goals

  • Develop internal playbooks, toolkits, and other assets for distribution across core markets to increase efficiency and effectiveness

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and analytics teams to track, analyze and report initiative performance against key KPIs and budget

  • up-to-datewith industry trends and understand how those trendsimpactour users and our products


  • 7-9years of experience inintegratedmarketing, product marketing, campaign planning and management,demonstratinga versatile marketing skill set across various domains

  • Great storyteller, with content strategy,creationand execution experience

  • Experience marketing toconsumer audience,preferablyin technology space

  • Ability tooperateand thrive in an agile environment

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience presenting to senior leadership and excellent presenting skills.

  • Ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven

  • Strong relationship builder, great communicator, and strong influencer

  • Positive team player motivated by being part of and succeeding as a team
