  • Executing Cognyte’s growth strategy through defining partnerships and customers in specific verticals and domains owning a sales quota per relevant region and domain – building and executing a sales plan to meet and exceed the targets
  • Collaborating with leading regional and global partners to drive strategic initiatives, build lasting relationships, and augment the pipeline
  • Working with system integrators and strategy consultants to identify new business opportunities and drive market demand
  • Work internally to continuously enhance the product offering based on information from the field

For that mission you’ll need:

  • At least 10 years of experience in software sales positions, preferably in the Governmental and Enterprise sectors. Focus on Law Enforcement Agencies
  • Experience in working in Law Enforcement Agencies as a user of investigation systems – a major advantage
  • Italian citizenship, Native Italian speaker, and good communication in English
  • Experience and skill set in partners’ development & management, business analysis, relationship building, business development
  • Experience working with System integrators is a must.
  • Experience working in the big data, analytics ecosystem
  • Proven experience in this field and proven ability to manage complex relationships and nurture them to success
  • Ability to operate in a complex matrix environment and drive processes internally

Our Group

The Digital Electronics Groupis responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing high-speed mixed-signal boards.

  • Developing precision controllers and synchronization systems.

  • Creating specialized boards for advanced semiconductor inspection tools. Our work enables real-time data acquisition and control, integrating seamlessly with FPGA, software, and algorithmic components.

  • Lead and manage a team of board design engineers focused on mixed-signal and high-speed electronics.

  • Define architecture and design strategies for complex boards, ensuring signal integrity and compliance with performance requirements.

  • Oversee project execution from concept through production, ensuring quality andtimelydelivery.

  • Collaborate closely with FPGA engineers to ensure seamless integration between boards and programmable logic.

  • Work with cross-functional teams (SW, Algo, System, Mechanical) to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Drive innovation by evaluatingemergingtechnologies and incorporating them into product roadmaps.

  • Mentor team members, foster technical excellence, and build a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What you should have

  • At least 8 years in board design development, including 3+ years in a proven leadership experience managing board design teams.

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • Deep technicalexpertisein mixed-signal and high-speed board design, including controllers and special-purpose boards.

  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and PCB design for high-speed systems.

  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Cadence, Mentor, Altium) and simulation environments.

  • Knowledge of FPGA interfaces and hardware/software co-design principles.

  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

  • AI & Automation Strategy: Drive AI-led workflow improvements and automation efforts across GCS. Your goal is to achieve specific, measurable outcomes including significant Case Avoidance and Case Deflection, while drastically reducing Time to Resolution (TTR) and Time to Connect (TTC)
  • Champion Serviceability & Scalability: Influence the product development lifecycle by advocating for improved serviceability and scalability in new and existing products. Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to incorporate critical support requirements early in the design phase
  • Engineer Enablement: Develop and deliver cutting-edge training programs, technical deep dives, and enablement content for our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) engineers, ensuring the global team is ready to expertly support complex Cloud and SASE architectures
  • Root Cause Elimination: Systematically analyze root causes of recurring, high-impact issues. Collaborate directly with Engineering to implement permanent product fixes and process improvements, minimizing customer impact and elevating the overall support experience

Required Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in technical support, engineering, or a related field within the networking and security industry
  • Core Domain Expertise: Deep and comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and complex LAN/WAN architectures
  • Expertise in network security concepts and technologies, including firewalls, VPNs (IPSEC, SSL), PKI, and intrusion prevention systems
  • Extensive, hands-on background in SASE and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Cloud & Deployment Fluency: Significant exposure to solutions deployed across major Public Clouds (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and Private Clouds
  • Proven track record of leading, managing, and implementing successful, high-impact technical projects
  • Operational Background: Proven experience working in Security, Network, and/or IT Operations environments
  • Experience developing and implementing Technical Support strategy and successfully mentoring Senior Technical Staff
  • Automation & AI Skills: Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML concepts to operational workflows or support processes for tangible business outcomes
  • Expertise with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for Automation and utilizing effective tools to achieve Case Avoidance and Deflection targets
