  • Supporting all inflowing requests for customer related documents globally
  • Managing orders accurately End to End for standard orders, samples, lab orders for proprietary business and contract manufacturing in the relevant ERP system
  • Issuing Quotations, Order acknowledgements, Returns, Credit and Debit notes; DA‘s, notifications
  • Verifying orders which come in through the OCR queue or webstore
  • Taking care of Export and Import handling as well as pricing related activities,
  • Initiating new customers through data creation, triggering Item creation
  • Updating customer master data and information records through SAP as well as providing copies of certifications, documents etc. for customers.
  • Handling Document Control, CMIR incl. Shipping instructions
  • Internal stakeholder relationship management (SCM/Ops/Quality/Shared Services)
  • Liaising with plants and wider supply chain to identify best way forward in case the customer requested dates cannot be met
  • Cooperation with the customer experience unit supporting internal audit findings and projects for continuous improvement
  • Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma GED or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years in client services or customer service required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge or experience with ERP tools like SAP with Sales and Distribution
  • Working knowledge of MS Office or the willingness to learn it quickly
  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English and one further language of our business areas
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong people skills – approachable, good listener, empathetic
  • Strong learning capacity
  • Ability to work independently in global environment

Job Summary

In this position, you will play an integral role in the working capital activities of West Pharmaceutical. Reporting to the Credit and Collections Team Lead, you will support the Global Credit and Collections department in the delivery of assigned accounts receivable activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Resolving customer disputes
  • Monthly account statements/ reminder
  • Maintain customer master data
  • Ensure relevant SLA’s and KPI’s are achieved
  • Escalate issues timely in accordance with escalation policy
  • Maintenace and management of credit release
  • Support and closely work with Credit Risk to manage customer credit limits/risk profile and payment terms
  • Assist with reconciliation and application of unidentified payments
  • Prepare and process refunds
  • Ensuring remittance are supplied by the customer in a timely manner
  • Support key controls and audit compliance activities in relation to the credit and collection's function, while always ensuring integrity and compliance
  • Assist with month end closing activities and reporting
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities within C2C
  • Maintaining of DTP's and up to date SOP
  • Support any system implementation
  • Managing customer portals
  • Other duties as assigned
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree Third level qualification in Finance, a related field or equivalent experience preferred
Work Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant SAP experience in cash applications and accounts receivable activities required
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated previous experience of cash applications automation implementation required
  • Minimum 3 years previous shared service centre experience with multinational publicly quoted company required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Fluency in a second European language desirable
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of ERP (SAP)
  • Customer focused with excellent problem solving and communication skills (written and oral)

Job Summary

The Senior Costing Analyst is a global position responsible for managing the product costing process for West’s production plants and distribution centers. They will interact with many departments across the organization and be a trusted partner within finance and operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Govern and provide expert advice and analysis on all standard cost updates: the annual standard cost process, costing of newly released products and business opportunities, and periodic reviews of individual part costs to ensure they are current and accurately reflect manufacturing costs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to ensure bills of materials and routings are accurate as well as procurement for purchasing information records.
  • Partner with the master data to implement best practices in maintaining the fields relevant to product costing.
  • Analyze global variances (production/purchase price/freight) to ensure accuracy of Standard Costs.
  • Ensure the integrity of the EEP legacy SAP environment and maintain data in that environment to ensure costing continues to transact correctly in that system;
  • Participate in S4 Hana go-lives as well as other SAP initiatives as the subject matter expert in all areas related to standard costing and variances.
  • Ensure appropriate controls and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Support and assist in the global initiatives relating to cost accounting for all regions/divisions of West.
  • Support and assist other functions within the business as required.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business with concentration in Accounting/Finance
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP
  • Understanding of the manufacturing environment and the associated financial processes
  • Knowledge of supply chain, receiving, inventory flow, operations process and manufacturing principles
  • Strong ability to assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
  • Ability to effectively analyze transactional level detail in an enterprise resource planning system and articulate the key findings to senior management
  • Ability to multi-task and drive actions to completion under strict deadlines
  • Understanding of GAAP and internal control principles
  • Highproficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • MBA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA
  • Prior SAP implementation experience

Must work constructively in an environment that may be stressful due to competing resources while at all times maintaining company confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work scheduled work week, plus overtime and/or irregular hours as required to complete assignments. May stand or sit for extended periods of time. Must transport oneself to and from other areas of the facility and travel to other divisions when necessary. Must have good visual acuity.   • Demonstrated ability to create strategy and implement change while managing a geographically dispersed team

In accordance with that strategy, we are establishing a Global Business Centre in Dublin, Ireland. Reporting & working closely with the Senior Business Analyst and the broader PTP leadership team,You will play an important role in the establishment and future development in Dublin of the global Procurement Operation function. This experience will progress your career development through the organizational change and the exploitation of opportunities offered by new information technologies.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the Procurement Operation & PTP global reporting & analytics:
    • Work closely with site procurement teams and other stakeholders to gather, document and analyse reporting requirements
    • Collaborate with D&T to design, develop and implement procurement reports in Power BI, SAP BI &West Tools as per requirements
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability across all procurement reports
    • Use West tools to provide relevant feedback (Gap & User story)
    • Ensure all reports are sufficiently documented (parameters, data source etc) in our DTP’s/SOP’s and a regular review process of same is in place.
    • Provide training and guidance to procurement teams and other stakeholders on using reports and dashboards effectively
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and suggest improvements to existing reporting structures and processes
    • Support the automation of procurement reporting processes to improve efficiency
    • Actively participate in initiatives identified from root cause analysis for Process improvement.
    • Support small/medium size projects in order to achieve desired improvements.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3rd level qualificationor equivalent
  • Previous Shared Service Centre experience with multinational publicly quoted company experience
