What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Building electrical panel builds, wiring diagrams, harness building, off the shelf part specifying and integration, etc.
- Start-to-finish hardware manufacturing ownership: Ordering components, creating custom components such as cables and PCBAs, build hardware, assemble, QC, Ship to site
- Thoroughly document design feedback both electrically and mechanically
- Connector management, Crimping and wire harness building/routing/integration
- Testing with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, electronic loads, signal generators, etc)
- Collaborate and communicate with project stakeholders across program management, field support, customers, EHS, technical publications, service engineering, product design, etc.
- Creation of documentation for others to follow. Both in manufacturing and in application engineering environments
- Ability to travel to commissioning sites, deployments, and Giga factories 50% of the time
- A hands-on scrappy, hands on, and a problem solver
- Passion for renewables, microgrids, diesel generator replacement
- Train others with technical knowledge gained with first hand exposure of Tesla product/tools
- Ability to create documentation for other first-time users to follow that are safe, efficient, and crisp
- Proven ability to specify and successfully source back up parts during shortages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Act as on-screen talent, strictly following documented procedures
- Follow all safety protocols and identify areas that may need safety review
- Collaborate with technical writers and safety engineers in procedure development
- Act as subject matter expert in the review process of videos to reach final approval
- Flexibility to work on weekends and/or overtime along with overnight stay and up to 30% travel to support Tesla’s critical mission
- Electrical trades experience within troubleshooting power electronics and low voltage controls
- Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Previous experience working with power/hand tools, electrical equipment, and ability to navigate numerous computer applications and technology independently
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Must be able to work at heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 50 pounds frequently

What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Physical introduction and systematic configuration of new or changing materials in production on schedule with implementation dates
- Assisting in the implementation on new PC processes (e.g., sequencing of materials), often required to complete additional reworks such as repackaging in addition to creating proper Tesla packaging labels with part number, home location, and quantity as NPI materials frequently come in with missing information
- Supporting special projects for PC, NPI, Pilot, or Process: WH layout and design, signage, labeling, rack installation, procurement, removal, and/or demo
- Component validation and kitting for engineering build requests and programs and removal of obsolete material in accordance with part specific disposition instructions
- Provided support for ALL Tesla team members by escalating any identified discrepancies or quality issues when trial parts are needed to be delivered, stored, changed, or removed
- Being an agent of change: Responding to emails, answering questions, and an overall source of information relating to change
- Will be placed in specific warehouse site as primary location; however, must be willing to work in all NPI Warehouse sites around Fremont, 901 Page, Deer Creek, 3000 Hanover, Hayward
- Advanced understanding of general warehousing operations and Tesla systems; computer skills are required – Microsoft Excel, Outlook, MFS, WARP, TMS, etc.
- Effective Communication: Proficiency of the English language, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work to successfully accomplish job duties
- Forklift and additional warehouse mobile equipment experience required
- Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30-50lbs. daily
