Responsibilities
Reports to the Executive Director, Retail Channel Operations, based in our Englewood Cliffs, N.J. Headquarters.
Position Objective
Partner with DA business stakeholders across sales, marketing, and retail operations to support and execute against the DA Retail business plans within DA channel partners’ retail stores. These plans will include a variety of initiatives, including POP merchandising, Sales Associate training, and Field Sales programming.
Support all product launches and promotional activities, including ONE Launch, and key drive times
Bring bold and innovative thinking to continuously improve Samsung brand experiences, consumer product engagement, and rep knowledge in the retail environment
Lead Samsung placement planning to optimize sales for each LOB product category across retail locations
Uphold Samsung brand standards as you prepare retail merchandising and display plans based on HE category priorities, as well as shopper, consumer, and retail insights
Digital content implementation (on device + digital in-store signage)
Outline the channel training strategy, work with cross-functional partners to develop a training plan, and field team (MSMs) to execute HE retail training initiatives
Partners with 3rd Party Labor agencies and field leaders (MSMs) to leverage brand /product campaigns and insights at retail, to provide merchandising implementation and agency management
Synthesize insights from qualitative and quantitative data points, compare data vs. KPIs, and identify optimization opportunities for future launch improvements
Evangelizing the Samsung LOB vision and mission
Lead a visible and high-performing DA Channel Operations team
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of retail leadership experience, preferably in CE and other fast-moving categories
Experience in customer experience design, development and visibility, and knowledge of retail tech
Strong leader with strategic business management skills, who can appropriately shift between tactical and strategic perspectives
Will need to be results-oriented, seek empowerment, inquisitive, comfortable with ambiguity, and possess versatile communication styles
Ability to manage and develop teams, work cooperatively with internal business partners locally and globally, and customers, sharing ideas and developing effective solutions in line with brand plans and company mission
Ability to influence, lead, motivate, and direct the activities cross functional resources and support groups to attain objectives, establish project schedules, and execute within the specified timeline
Approximately 25% travel is expected

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $197,500 and $244,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.

Source, define and execute on new mobile app ecosystem partnerships. Canvas the mobile app ecosystem landscape and reach out to top global partners in key-industries (Social Media, Travel, Health, Productivity, e-commerce, Ride-share, AI etc) to drive new business (distribution opportunities, Galaxy Store apps, and other partnerships).
Collaborate with Device Marketing team to build 360 app-distribution & marketing partnerships, inclusive of ATL + BTL marketing packages and B2B/B2C messaging
Collaborate with Mobile Ad Sales organization to source and grow app partners distribution and monetization footprint across Samsung solutions
Grow existing partnerships; identify new areas of collaboration and revenue opportunities with high value partners.
Activities will include: defining new partnership opportunities, developing targets and sales materials, drafting and negotiating complex distribution agreements, and relationship building.
Work cross-functionally across business, product, operations, and other parts of the organization (including Korea HQ) to develop and execute business strategy

8 years of overall experience with BA/BS required, MBA preferred.
6+ years of experience in deal-making with mobile OEMs, managing mobile distribution, mobile Ads monetization, Carriers/Networks with deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.
Familiarity with IronSource, AppLovin, Digital Turbine and pre and postload app industry
Working experience with mobile app-stores across distribution, marketing and operations
Working knowledge and experience on Carriers/Networks (T-mobile, AT&T, Verizon etc) marketing partnership-deal negotiations with app partners
Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally and ultimately close deals,
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects.
Excellent negotiation skills; ability to influence change and set new directions for business.
Strong written, verbal communication, presentation and analytical skills required.
Experience with complex, senior level negotiations; experience communicating with and presenting to C-level leadership

Sales Directorwho will be responsible for Samsung Wireless Networks sales with Verizon. Location for this position is in Berkeley Heights, NJ and work is performed out of the Samsung Electronics America (SEA) local office. This role will:
Manage sales plans and ensure that account sales strategies are implemented.
Develop new sales leveraging entire Samsung Networks 5G product portfolio.
Have direct selling and high touch customer relationship building responsibility in one of SEA's most important strategic accounts.
Lead a cross-functional team to maximize Samsung Networks revenue potential and market share growth at Verizon.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for revenue generation from wireless networks sales at Verizon.
Foster strong relationships with key customer contacts in order to successfully position Samsung's Wireless Networks portfolio, including Macro Cells, Indoor and Outdoor Small Cells, Packet Core and Services.
Respond to Customer’s (internal / external) complex technical problems and non-standard requests.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of directly related Sales experience to large service providers in US is required, including 5+ years sales experience calling on Verizon Network Team Leadership (Director and/or VP Level).
Previous sales experience with wireless networks products is required.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic account plans, short term and long-term. forecasts, Risk Assessment and SWOT Analysis Experience, as well as collecting requirements and delivering applicable technical solution(s).
Proven track record as sales team leader with sustained minimum revenues $15M+ annually.
Ability to forecast, create sales pipeline, present to Directors and VPs.
Strong knowledge of industry products and market intelligence.
Experience from an Asian business environment and management structure a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within customer'sorganizations.
The ability to negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer leadership, directors and managers with opposing views to accept/approve plans, technical and project recommendations.
