Essential Responsibilities:

• Daily processing of invoices and credit requests from global stakeholders with SLA timelines
• Triage, manage, and resolve ad-hoc escalations to ensure minimized merchant impact
• Support accounting and business stakeholders with onboarding and configuring strategic merchants or partners to gross settlement products
• Generate reporting for audit and other Finance teams
• Identify and drive process improvement “quick win” projects,

• Acting operational support arm for Finance and Controllership
• Maintain documentation, metrics, and operating procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

• BA/BS degree,
• Knowledge of basic US GAAP accounting practices
• Experience with policy or contract review,
• Experience with inbox and ticketing management support ( JIRA or Salesforce ),
• Experience around process improvement with example of cost savings projects
• Experience working with cross functional and international teams,
• Significant skills/experience in MS Excel , analytics, and process management
• Demonstrates strong independent organizational skills,
• Demonstrates strong capabilities in second order thinking with research diligence
• Demonstrates strong operating procedures (SOP) and requirement document (BRD) building, including strong understanding around product requirement, data structure, and merchant record (MOR) data management,
• Experience with SAP or ERP equivalent

Your day-to-day

In your day-to-day role, you will be

• Developing and maintaining standardized SOPs for key processes and activities within the organization to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders, such as department heads, process owners, and risk managers, to identify and address potential risks within existing SOPs.
• Conducting regular reviews and updates of SOPs to reflect changes in regulations, industry standards, or internal procedures that may impact risk exposure.
• Identifying gaps or inefficiencies in current SOPs that could pose risks to the organization's operations or objectives.
• Providing training and guidance to employees on how to access and follow SOPs, ensuring a consistent understanding and implementation across the organization.

You will partner closely with Service Experience business leaders and our Second Line of Defense (SLOD) partners to identify and assess risks pertaining to the business. Your insights from risk assessments will form the basis for risk response strategies and prioritization, guiding risk mitigation activities and monitoring efforts.

Your day to day

• Evaluating the inherent risks associated with Service Experience processes.
• Identifying and assessing corresponding controls to determine the strength of the control environment.
• Analyzing the need for additional controls and evaluating residual risks.
• Analyzing key risk metrics for Service Experience, extracting valuable insights from dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making processes and drive risk mitigation strategies.
• Articulating and presenting escalated risks to management, providing clear assertions on risk exposure and highlighting potential impacts on Service Experience operations and objectives.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive inventories of risks and controls to facilitate effective risk management and control optimization.
• Identifying control gaps resulting from new regulatory requirements and product changes across Service Experience, proactively addressing potential risks and ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.

What do you need to bring

• Risk, Compliance, banking, process management, or similar experience.
• Experience in process mapping and documentation.
• Experience in managing risks, controls, and/or compliance obligations, preferably in the financial industry including managing or supporting any of the following:
  • The identification, assessment, control, and response to risks;
  • Execution of risk response plans, including the development, prioritization, and communication of;
  • Driving adherence to risk and compliance policies and procedures;
  • Monitoring key risks and identifying emerging risks; and
  • Navigating within a three lines of defense model to address risk matters.
• Experience in control and/or process design
