What You Need to Bring

Expertise in sales process management, pipeline development, and forecasting.
Experience working with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and leveraging analytics for decision making.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a strong plus.
Ability to lead across cultures and time zones in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Experience in fintech, payments, or SaaS is preferred.
Preferred Education

Provide governance and legal entity oversight of Mexico to support the development of PayPal’s business, organization, employees, and brand.
Support the execution of strategic regulatory engagement plan for Mexico.
Assist with onsite audits and discussions with regulators on critical issues.
Help drive legal/regulatory advice on potential growth initiatives and consider the impact on legal entity management.
Enable the business to move quicker by helping streamline processes and ensuring control functions are able to support commercial objectives.
Ensure there is clear and open cross-functional communication.
Promote PayPal’s internal and external image and reputation internationally.
Build effective, trust-based, working relationships with Head Office, the local Boards, Regulators, Government, Industry bodies and other key stakeholders.
Monitor and track legislation and regulatory initiatives impacting PayPal.
Support crisis management matters with management.

Qualifications:
Experience creating Board presentations and engagement with Board of Directors and Regulators.
Familiarity with the Mexico markets, coupled with perspectives from working in a matrixed environment. Ideally this person would have experience working for a US multi-national at some stage in their career.
Experience in Mexico Payments industry (Acquirer side)
Knowledgeable about competitive forces within and outside of the industry.
Track record of driving results for an organization.

Build and execute joint co-marketing campaigns with wallet partners and merchants to drive consumer usage and merchant presentment.
Own the regional GTM calendar , including consumer promotional offers, merchant incentives, and partner-led channel plans.
Partner with BD and Sales to align PayPal World benefits into local merchant conversations and strategic partner roadmaps.
Localize messaging frameworks and creative templates to reflect regional nuances while staying true to the global Apollo narrative.
Develop marketing toolkits and playbooks for partners and merchants, enabling them to scale adoption through owned and paid channels.
Track program KPIs across consumer usage, merchant adoption, and partner satisfaction, and report into the global Apollo program office.
Qualifications
