Senior NPO Engineer

Senior NPO Engineer role entails solid hands-on RF optimization experience on multi-vendor (Huawei & Zte) preferably in all or most technologies (2g, 3g, 4g, Volte, 5g).

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As part of our team, you will perform below tasks while in parallel developing yourself:

  • Drive optimization of multi-vendor Radio Network to meet and exceed target KPIs as per SLA across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G systems. Preferred Huawei & Zte.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of worst cell lists and introduce effective troubleshooting strategies
  • Develop and execute comprehensive optimization plans to enhance network performance
  • Engage in technical discussions with customers to address their needs and share innovative solutions
  • Deep dive investigations and troubleshooting using optimization methodologies and techniques
  • Prepare and execute high level management presentations including managerial and technical details
  • Multi-layer, Multi-technology Radio Network Parameter tunning & setting to maximise the coverage, quality, capacity, and User experience
  • Planning and executing complex Network strategy in accordance to customer requirement
  • Provision and implement for new features & trial as per release and share benchmark results with customer
  • Perform root cause analysis in more complex problems (e2e) and provide solution of rectification/improvement
  • SSV/Cluster Optimization and SLA KPIs reporting/acceptance.
  • Manage, track and control change control mechanism for all changes in the network
  • Help the customer with the activation plan, KPI monitoring, report generation and evaluation of the proposed changes
  • Serves as the primary interface towards the customer in all activities-related to optimization, including customer complaints, corrective actions, and changing requirements.
  • Ensure that the project meets all objectives for quality in full alignment with Nokia Mode of Operation and looks continuously for quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor junior engineers to uplift their capabilities and skills in optimization and upcoming technologies

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecommunication/Electrical/Computer) or a relevant field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in RF Planning & Optimization for 2G, 3G, LTE & 5G networks.
  • Strong working experience with Huawei and ZTE Radio Access technologies/OSS platforms and parameters/counters.
  • In-depth analysis and troubleshooting capability using radio network statistics and Layer 3 traces.
  • Ability to perform Drive-Test log analysis and work efficiently with NPO tools.
  • Proficient in written/spoken English with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex relationships.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Familiarity with Nokia SRAN, DCAP Solution, and Nokia tools such as MUSA, Atoll (9955), and SON.
  • Ability to understand and utilize crowd-sourced data (FB, Google, OpenSignal, etc.) to identify trends/insights and drive actionable improvements.
  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Power Pivot, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Self-driven, flexible team player with a can-do attitude, who takes responsibility and delivers results.

Director of Canadian Partner Sales

The Canada Partner Leader manages all indirect sales relationships within the Canadian market, from large partners and VARs to GSIs, distributors, and service providers. Responsibilities include managing partner relationships, implementing partner programs, engaging in strategic deals, and driving sales across all Network Infrastructure portfolios. This role requires working with both Canadian and multinational partners to execute market strategy, create new customer acquisitions, and expand into new vertical segments.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Accountable for partner-led sales performance for NOKIA's Network Infrastructure portfolio (i.e. Optical Networks, IP, Fiber networks, CPE) in the Canadian market• Creates sales strategy specific to the portfolio in the Canadian market, in cooperation with regional business leaders (ie. Business Center/ Segment leaders and Canadian sales leaders), and you would have responsibility for the execution of the plan along with the vertical sales leaders within the Canada Market• Identify and exploit market and technology trends to strongly position specific portfolio and to create business impact.• Drives customer diversification initiatives to create new opportunities.• Identifies new business opportunities for additional products and services, leveraging existing customer relationships and mobilizing resources in own and other teams (EG, in Market Head of Sales (HoS) and Business Center/Segment leaders).• Analyzes and evaluates business cases for associated new growth portfolios, by using internal and external business knowledge (market, competition, etc) to help sustain competitive advantage.• Represents sales unit (EG CO) in respective product business groups, and influences strategic decisions which are critical to the performance of sales function.• Solves highly complex or novel problems based on sophisticated analytical thought and complex judgment.• Acts as a senior subject-matter expert, typically at a global or regional level the most senior internal expert who serves as best practice / quality resource. In this example, as the Canadian Market Partner lead for NI with global Partner leaders and/or regional partner leads elsewhere globally within NOKIA• Often leads specialized / dedicated account managers in the specific portfolio to achieve business targets.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experienced in dealing with Service Providers, Partners as well as go-to-market programs associated with each route to market
  • Technology experience with technologies like Optical Transport, IP Routing, Security, Fiber Optics and Data Center
  • Market knowledge of the Canadian CSP, Enterprise and Public Sector space
  • Leadership experience leading as senior leader in matrix organizations.
  • Ability to develop long-term strategic plans at a market level
  • Minimum 7-10 year’s experience in relevant / related market segment technologies; ideally with people management experience
