As a Client Technical Onboarding Vice President within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will be responsible for the overall client experience and project management of technical commercial product implementations. Partner with client and internal stake holders to help provide a best-in-class experience. In this role you are often the clients first true experience working with JP Morgan Chase.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage multiple complex payment integration projects at any given time, prioritizing tasks, resources and stakeholders across time zones
  • Support clients in migrating from various TMS or updating their payment formats (e.g. SWIFT to ISO XML) in line with evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Scope client requests and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for treasury services
  • Manage client and internal partner expectations by establishing timeliness and dependencies with the goal to exceed expectations
  • Own the product implementation and training experience for your assigned clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in Relationship Management, Sales, Service, Operations and Product Management
  • Work with partners in Operations and Product Management to streamline processes
  • Identify instances of business risk and show ownership of issues when they arise
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to document meeting agendas and minutes and project plans. Use of workflow tool for status updates and document repository

  • Technical project management experience or experience with complex treasury implementations and comfort in a fast paced, dynamic client-facing environment
  • Ability to clearly communicate, partner, and influence others to a common goal

  • Comfort in using technology such as WebEx, Zoom, and other collaboration tools for enhanced client discussions

As a Wholesale Credit Risk EMEA – Consumer, Healthcare, Retail – Vice President in the Commercial & Investment Bank team, you will play a crucial role in negotiating and developing recommendations for new transaction approvals across a variety of products, including secured and unsecured loans, derivatives, trade, and treasury products. You will lead due diligence and credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of counterparties, making recommendations on appropriate structures, risk appetite, and grading. Your role will involve structuring and documentation negotiations, as well as ongoing credit risk portfolio management. You will also be committed to personal development and fostering team knowledge by coaching and training members of the Analyst and Associate community. Your ability to balance a commercial mindset with a sound risk and controls attitude will be key to managing the Firm’s balance sheet effectively.
