The sales Director is responsible for driving the organization to reach profitable sales growth in Europe for BMS portfolio, ranking from hardware, software, Software as a service and service offering.

In this role, you will drive the performance of a team of 100+ sellers across Europe, serving multiple channels. You will use your knowledge of customers, the industry segments and competition to identify and pursue biggest opportunities for growth, aligning internal stakeholders to grasp them, influencing and partnering with Offering Management teams, Business development, Supply Chain, Logistic, other Honeywell business units. You will make sure top customers are better served and are growing their business with Honeywell, while developing new channels and new customers. You will drive new product / solutions adoption in the market, identifying key requirements for success and secure their implementation.

Responsibilities of the position :

  • Be accountable and responsible for the development and execution of Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and the coordination of those plans with key stakeholders (offering, business development, sales excellence), to achieve targeted results in each region each month
  • Articulate the strategy to develop customers / markets, execute new initiatives to secure adoption of new solutions and business models in the existing channels or new ones.
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure leadership is informed on the progress, develop mitigation actions when required
  • Drive the orders and revenue forecast and alignment with manufacturing, logistic functions
  • Create opportunities to up sell – develop X-selling opportunities with other Honeywell businesses
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Manage overall customer satisfaction including, quarterly business reviews, account rail, service request, data collection. This includes development and management of action plans to improve customer satisfaction

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience, mini of 5 in sales leadership positions in international environment and overlooking multiple countries
  • Exceptional leadership skills – proven experience in leading experienced sales professionals
  • Experience in Electrical and Distributor sales.Proven Customer engagements at senior levels
  • Proven customer acquisition experience
  • European market knowledge

Account management of value-added partners (VAR’s) is a primary function of this role, managing the relationships, dealing with pricing enquiries and growing the sales of Niagara, whilst improving margin contribution and cash flow.

This role will require a certain amount of travel within the UK and Ireland (approx. 1-3 nights every other week and occasionally on consecutive weeks)

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribution to team sales meetings on a regular basis. Co-ordination with other BDM’s across Tridium EMEA and global initiatives and ensuring alignment across teams. Innovation and Future Planning: Collaborate with R&D and other teams to explore emerging technologies and develop innovative product solutions that address evolving market needs.

Must Have Skills

  • Experienced salesperson with proven track record of developing business with OEM’s, Resellers, End Users, Consultants, Specifiers and their supply chain in the Region.
  • Driven individual with ability to work under own management .Knowledge of the local market structure, procedures and potential customers.
  • Commercial & Technical appreciation of Building Management Control Systems. Ability to produce sound business/investment plans and proposals.
