Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on electrical assets including mould and power presses, pumps, conveyors, and ancillary equipment etc.
Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares aren't available (retrofitting, reverse engineering or modifying equipment)
Working in line with maintenance techniques and best practices complying with Health and Safety regulations.
Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection logs
Supporting and mentoring apprentices.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Time Served Apprenticeship in an electrical engineering field.
Strong experience working with PLC controlled plant and associated equipment.
Fault finding and repair
Experience working in a fast-moving production environment.
This is not an electrical installation role.
