RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consult with clients on customisation options, system configurations, & optimization strategies to enhance the performance of our platform.
  • Provide support and recommendations on best practices for implementing and utilizing our platform.
  • Act as the product subject matter expert, providing in-depth knowledge and guidance to customers on the technical aspects of all our current products (Engage, Forecast, AI); partner with Professional Services or Customer Success upon request to provide guidance on customer engagements in order to drive healthy adoption
  • Act as a specialist resource & technical SME to other internal teams & beta customers as Gong releases new products & features
  • Establish our post-sale motion to support the go-live of new features & products, primarily focused on how they will impact our existing methodologies
  • Conduct integration consultations with customers to facilitate seamless integration of 3rd party tools, or into their existing systems and processes.
  • Address complex technical setup questions from clients, troubleshooting issues, and providing solutions to technical challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proven experience in a technical account management or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven/SAAS industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of software development, database management, API integrations, and other technical concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong exec presence & confidence in speaking to C-Level executives
  • Top tier project management skills; ability to take ownership and drive progress forward, escalate blockers as needed
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product & engineering, as well as GTM teams (Sales, Customer Success)
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional technical support and consultation to clients.

As a Sales Manager within Gong, you will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing a team of experienced Account Executives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. You will lead initiatives in the French market as we continue to grow our business there and also take the lead on initiatives to drive the growth of Gong in EMEA as we look to penetrate new territories.

This is a hybrid in-office role, where you are expected to be in office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Hire, ramp, develop, and promote a team of experienced Account Executives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team KPIs and implement solutions to increase sales efficiency.
  • Own the market strategy for France and represent Gong at market events
  • Consistently deliver against team and segment revenue goals.
  • Embody and reinforce Gong’s Operating Principles at work.
  • Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers needs and mapping them to the value of Gong.
  • Confidently forecast on and own the results of your team.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with product, marketing and customer success to support local market fit.
  • Inspire and motivate a high performing team and bring innovation to the sales process to help accelerate our market growth trajectory.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English required
  • Minimum of 3 years as a SaaS Sales Manager.
  • Successful track record of hitting and annual quarterly quotas.
  • Experience with selling within the French market
  • High levels of self motivation, ownership, and adaptability, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • High aptitude for cross functional collaboration and ability to influence internally and externally.
