What You’ll Do:

  • Evaluate and understand the logistics setup of merchants, identifying the most suitable Global-e solutions to optimise their international shipping processes.
  • Be a logistics subject matter expert for both internal teams (Sales, Account Managers, Solutions) and external stakeholders, providing guidance on logistics solutions and best practices for international expansion.
  • Work closely with Revenue and Professional Service teams to support new and existing business opportunities. Ensure that logistics-related concerns are addressed effectively throughout the sales cycle.
  • Act as the point of contact (POC) between technical and non-technical functions within the company, ensuring effective communication and smooth implementation of logistics solutions. This includes working with the technical teams to customise solutions based on merchant requirements and overseeing the practical execution of those solutions.
Requirements
  • 6 years+ experience in logistics management, supply chain, or a related field
  • Strong technical understanding of logistics operations and global shipping processes
  • Extensive knowledge in shipping and carrier offerings
  • Experience working with international merchants and eCommerce platforms
  • Ability to translate complex technical logistics concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs processes is a plus

  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities in addition to any red flags.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports and QBRs covering and analysing clients’ KPIs.
  • Support clients’ strategic, marketing and operational decisions based on internal knowledge, data analysis and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting client relationships.
Requirements
  • At least 1+ years experience in an Account Management or Customer Success Manager role.
  • Prior B2B experience in a software, logistics or SaaS company preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Experience in generating revenue by expanding on an existing book-of-business.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data and trends to internal and external clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-levels
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent preferable.
  • With our merchants being located globally, flexibility is required and we may need you to work out of office hours when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with international carriers, negotiating favorable terms, rates, and service level agreements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of international shipments, including scheduling, and tracking, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Regularly assess carrier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction, implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will be responsible for managing one or more of the carrier exception reports that Operations receives daily.
  • Ensure all international shipping activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations, including customs requirements, import/export controls, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Analyze shipping costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality, contributing to the company’s profitability.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and tech support to align shipping strategies with overall business goals and customer expectations.
  • As part of the Operations team, you will be required to attend a regular departmental meeting where you will be asked to input: (We discuss the weeks prior events, we discuss new ideas /ways to drive efficiencies, we help each other, we help each other, and identify/investigate root causes of reoccurring issues & assist to deliver solutions)
  • Support/assist Ops to answer internal stakeholders/merchant enquiries in line with procedures
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years in logistics, with a proven experience in international logistics or carrier management, with a strong understanding of global shipping operations and regulations.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • An open mind and a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work with speed, accuracy, and efficient.
  • Additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
  • A strong focus on addressing and resolving customer issues.
  • Flexibility in approach and work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently, with effective prioritization skills.
