What You Will Be Doing

Building on the work done by our team to date, you will develop plans and set priorities within the functional areas of Corporate, Travel & Event Security, Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability and Occupational Health. These activities will involve engaging internally across a number of functions such as HR, IT, Finance and Events (Internal / Corporate, External Fields Ops / Marketing), Sourcing and of course the rest of the global workplace team and external partner / service provider teams. With a need to develop and write policies that will require endorsement from senior executives, you will manage upwards a lot and be sensitive to Elastic’s way with words.

Due to the wide geographical spread of our locations, there will be some requirement to travel.

Key Functional Areas

Environment & Sustainability:

  • Support our ESG director with relevant initiatives as required.
  • Produce periodic reports on Environment & Sustainability for leadership and investors.
Corporate, Travel & Event Security
  • Oversee corporate security standards covering access control and employee security.
  • Direct implementation of access control and CCTV systems standards & policies.
  • Oversee Events Security & Risk Assessment process for internal & external events.
Incident / Crisis Management
  • Develop a people-focused incident / crisis management process and playbook.
  • Oversee incident management plans to include roles & responsibilities and communication plans.
  • Act as global incident controller, including emergency communications as needed.
Health & Safety
  • Oversee the global health & safety policy and its practical applications.
  • Direct the implementation of a global H&S management system.
Occupational Health
  • Oversee the management of health checks, absenteeism and occupational health training as it pertains to each country.
  • Provide support and advice to the global workplace Occupational Health lead.
General Activities
  • Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Set up an audit & action plan, with reporting metrics for each functional area.
  • Develop a plan for the future of the function, including staffing and budgets.

What You Bring

  • Multi-location (regional / global) experience of at least 10 years.
  • Implementation of systems / tools to support the functional areas.
  • Recent experience of working with ISO & SASB standards.

  • Addressing Employee Payroll Questions (Via Ticketing system)
  • Tax/year end administration

What is The Role

As the Recruiting Leader for the Go To Market team, you'll create and implement hiring strategies to attract a diverse pool of capable talent. You'll lead a team of experienced sales and services Recruiters who partner with the business in EMEA & APJ (excluding India).

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales & services recruiters who will be expected to source, screen, and hire outstanding talent in a nuanced business environment.
  • Engage regularly with leaders and executives to understand business challenges and hiring needs. Ensure your team has a constant pulse on the business and adapts quickly.
  • Build and develop solid relationships with Hiring Managers, other parts of HR (Recruiting Leadership, Recruiting Enablement & Operations, Compensation, HR Operations etc), Sales Operations, Finance, and other teams to deliver our workforce plan.
  • Understand and achieve key standards of success including hiring and DEI goals. Evaluate recruiting results and find opportunities to improve recruiting practices.
  • Share data, progress and insights with leaders to advance hiring practices in your regions.
  • Ensure your team use the CRM, ATS and other tools and partner with Operations and HR Tech teams for tool needs, requirements and improvements.
  • Be ready to carry requisitions in peak periods as needed.

What You Bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree or similar work experience
  • Knowledge and success in executing a full-cycle, high quality recruiting process required.
  • Proven track record of experience in IT / Technology or SaaS industry
  • Strong personal EMEA network within sales / marketing sector
  • Knowledge of reporting, data analysis, and understanding of recruiting metrics
  • Experience in building new processes, programs hiring initiatives that will raise the talent bar
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to take feedback and build strong positive relationships.
  • Proven organisational skills with ability to prioritise and work well in an environment with ambitious demands.
  • High EQ and a proven pattern of positively mentoring others around you.
  • Some travel required.
