You will:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers on GenAI strategy, with a focus on platform architecture, infrastructure readiness, and operationalization. Provide technical leadership in selecting, implementing, and optimizing platforms for GenAI workloads (e.g., NVIDIA AI Enterprise, VMware Private AI, Kubernetes, Dell APEX, Azure AI, etc.).

  • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations that showcase Dell’s GenAI capabilities and platform advantages and collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities, scope projects, and develop tailored GenAI platform solutions.

  • Translate complex customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and solution architectures.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful design and delivery of GenAI solutions, including integration with data pipelines, model training environments, and inference platforms.

  • Stay current with emerging trends in GenAI infrastructure, including LLM deployment, GPU/accelerator technologies, MLOps, and data governance.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and deploying AI/ML or GenAI solutions at scale, with a strong understanding of the underlying platform requirements.

  • Deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies including high-performance computing (HPC), GPU clusters, storage architectures, and networking for AI workloads.

  • Familiarity with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), MLOps frameworks, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

  • Strong understanding of GenAI model lifecycle—from data ingestion and training to fine-tuning and inference and ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals.

  • Recognized as a thought leader in AI infrastructure or platform engineering, with a track record of innovation and customer impact.


Desirable Requirements

  • Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and/or AI infrastructure (e.g., NVIDIA Certified, VMware AI Ready).

  • Experience with Dell Technologies’ AI and infrastructure portfolio (e.g., PowerEdge, PowerScale, APEX, ECS).

  • Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and tools (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, Triton Inference Server, MLflow).

As a Sales Specialist, you will deliver strategic return on investment by overall development of global alliance strategies to position Dell Technologies Workplace solutions into alliance partner portfolios and build unique value propositions around these relationships.


You will:

Develop an overall ANZ partner strategy, account plan and cadence:

  • Structured plan to grow the Dell business with the partner in all categories
  • Supported by partner growth plan and associated global agreements
  • Co-developing sales strategies and decision-making processes.

Develop an executive connection structure and cadence:

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with global customers and internal stakeholders.
  • The executive sponsorship in each of the target markets is the first critical step to building a strong and repeatable partnership
  • This is supported by joint business reviews and goals

Work with the virtual team to deliver strategy / communication and ensure a joined up approach:

  • There is a virtual team across ANZ including alliances and the channel. Provide leadership to this team to ensure a joined up approach and a clear understanding of the strategy.
  • Work with local teams in the area to identify opportunities for improvement and drive sales plans. Act as a workplace solution expert resource for the sales organization to help meet and exceed their objectives

Deliver the metrics set for the account:

  • This will include financial metrics
  • Pipeline
  • Joint initiatives
  • Marketing activities etc

Grow the business:

  • Develop local plans that fit with local markets and structures to grow the business
  • Utilise local structures / markets / culture to ensure the plan is fit for purpose in the specific geography

Essential Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the Workplace and Client portfolio
  • 5+ years of experience in a relationship selling role; field sales experience preferred
  • Solution selling skills and excellent understanding of product configurations
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, virtual teams and leadership
  • Project leading skllis and team player
