Your Impact

The Tech Leader-Testing, Network OS

Responsibilities:

  • Test Plan Development:Define comprehensive test plans for specific software features to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Test Environment Setup:Establish and configure test environments required to execute various test cases effectively.
  • Test Execution and Bug Identification:Execute manual and automated software tests to validate embedded software functionality. Identify, document, and report software bugs and issues for resolution.
  • Test Automation:Automate tests for embedded software to enhance efficiency and accuracy in testing processes.
  • Customer Advocacy:Act as a customer advocate by providing actionable design feedback to the development team to improve product quality and usability.
  • System-Level Understanding and Testing:Perform control-plane, data-plane, packet forwarding, and packet scheduling system-level testing to ensure robust performance.
  • Potentially engage in product security testing to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
  • Linux Server Administration:Administer Linux servers using tools like vSphere and ESXi to support testing and development environments


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ of related experience or master's degree with 6+ years of related experience
  • Extensive automation experience using Python
  • Experience with test planning and execution for a product feature or functionality for network operating systems
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge with Linux
  • Experience with L2/L3/L4 testing (such as Routers)
  • Debugging experience with tools such as PDB (Python Debugger) or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • DOCSIS protocol experience is a HUGE plus
  • In depth knowledge of one or more LAN/WAN protocols such as (Ethernet, MPLS, OSPF, BGP etc.) as well as Cable applications
  • Solid foundation in TCP/IP protocol

Your Impact

As an SAP BRIM Technical Leader within Splunk Finance Systems, you will define the configuration and integration blueprint for our enterprise-scale BRIM platform (SOM, CC, CI) on S/4HANA. You will deliver Splunk finance releases, enable new SaaS and consumption offers, and influence the broader Cisco subscription-management roadmap—without a heavy reliance on custom code.

  • Architect and lead configuration of SAP BRIM SOM, Convergent Charging, and Convergent Invoicing to support usage-based, subscription, and one-time billing.
  • Design and implement integrations between BRIM, Salesforce CRM, and using API frameworks.
  • Define and govern SAP CC charge plans, rate tables, and event models that scale to millions of transactions per day.
  • Facilitate functional workshops with finance, revenue-operations, and GTM stakeholders; translate GTM requirements into user stories and configuration tasks.
  • Provide Tier-3 production support, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement guidance for global subscription-billing operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of SAP experience, with 3+ years focused on SAP BRIM (SOM, CC, CI) configuration and integration.
  • Expertise configuring SAP CC charge plans, pricing catalogs, mediation, and billing convergence on S/4HANA.
  • Proven experience integrating SAP BRIM with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
  • Successful delivery of at least two full-cycle BRIM implementations in high-tech or software industries.
Preferred Qualifications
