Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with partners to understand their existing security challenges and demonstrate how Cisco solutions can successfully address those challenges. Form relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations.
  2. Offer sales support to partners, including solution demonstrations and customized proposals. Collaborate with the sales team to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
  3. Demonstrate an understanding of Cisco's security portfolio, including hardware, software, and services. Provide high-level technical insights & product demonstrations, and comprehensive explanations to partners to highlight the benefits of Cisco's security solutions.
  4. Identify partners who are currently selling other security products. Evaluate their potential as Cisco partners and cultivate relationships to build new business opportunities.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and emerging security threats. Use this knowledge to position Cisco's security solutions as outstanding alternatives.
  6. Develop and execute lead generation campaigns, presentations, and events tailored to a target list of high-potential partners. Collaborate with marketing teams to drive awareness and interest.
  7. Provide training and enablement resources to partners, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools to effectively promote and sell Cisco security products.
  8. : Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, opportunities, and sales progress. Prepare regular reports for management to supervise the success and efficiency of business development efforts.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in sales & channel roles within the IT security industry.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding relationship and trust-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Technical knowledge of Cisco's security portfolio and technologies desired.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Cisco CCNA Security or CCNP Security, are a plus.

As a Partner Cost Management Specialist, you will be integral to optimizing Cisco's manufacturing cost strategies. You will drive or play a significant role in the following activities:

Develop and Execute Cost Strategies:

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive cost strategies for outsourced manufacturing services, focusing on both Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) models.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align cost strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring they contribute positively to Cisco's competitiveness in the market.

Cost Negotiation Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop negotiation strategies that achieve or exceed fiscal targets, ensuring cost efficiencies without compromising quality.
  • Lead negotiations with manufacturing partners to secure favorable terms and conditions that support Cisco's financial goals.

Fiscal Planning and Goal Setting:

  • Participate in fiscal planning on a quarterly and annual basis, setting realistic and achievable goals.
  • Analyze financial data to forecast spending and identify opportunities for cost savings.

Monitor and Manage Spend:

  • Oversee spending with manufacturing partners across various categories, including standard costs, New Manufacturing Systems (NMS), New Manufacturing Activities (NMA), and New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Ensure that all expenditures are within budget and aligned with Cisco's financial policies.

Assess Manufacturing Partner Financial Health:

  • Conduct regular assessments of manufacturing partners' financial stability to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial assessments to senior management.

Champion Cost-Reduction Initiatives:

  • Lead Value Engineering (VE) initiatives aimed at reducing transformation costs and improving product margins.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with high visibility across Cisco's supply chain and other functions.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, balancing Cisco's optimization goals with the needs of manufacturing partners to achieve mutual success.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, cost strategy development, and financial planning.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost efficiencies.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

We are seeking a JDM (ODM) Partner and Sourcing Manager for Hardware who has experience in working with ODMs to launch Hi-tech & consumer products. Reporting to the Director of ODM Partner Management and Meraki Sourcing, you will work cross-functionally with JDM (ODM), Hardware Engineering, Legal, Quality, and many others to ensure successful product launches and program initiatives with our partners.

You will:
  • Develop JDM (ODM) strategy roadmap aligning business requirements with supplier capabilities
  • Manage ongoing business relationships and facilitate open communication between JDM partners & Meraki team
  • Manage Meraki cross-functional relationships to support new product development builds
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and product management teams to assess current and future sourcing requirements
  • Conduct supplier business reviews to assess supplier capabilities in areas of technology, supply chain, and quality.
  • Drive initiatives including cost reductions, favorable contract & payment terms, and lead time reductions.
  • Work on JDM (ODM) critical projects that come around and program manage them to completion by partnering with internal Meraki collaborators and JDM leadership
  • Provide Analyses to support key JDM (ODM) decisions
You are:
  • Strategic - use data and cross-functional input drive to prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Collaborative - equally invested in the success of team members. You facilitate, invite and act on different points of view.
  • Analytical - use data to make decisions and measure efficiency.
  • Communicator - communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.

You have:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years of ODM/Contract Manufacturer management experience in consumer electronics or semiconductor industry with knowledge of manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience working with Asian supply chains
  • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed.
  • Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
