About the Job:

The Lead Cybersecurity is a development position, scope of work includes participating in scrum team ceremonies, reviewing, and approving software requirements, solutions, estimating LOE, writing code, testing & reviewing code before delivering completed assignments. Individual must prove competency with writing secure code, following clean code practices, as well as being proficient with use of developer tooling and platforms. In addition to writing code for assigned stories, this role includes prepare and provide necessary documentation and responses during audit processes, ,client and production tier 3 support tasks, assisting with trouble shooting issues and being available to quickly mitigate security issues (including prompt resolution of any bug bounty tickets, addressing exploits occurring in the application environments). This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.

Join our dynamic Cyber Operations Red Team as a Lead Red Team Operator. In this role, you will participate in sophisticated Red Team exercises aimed at uncovering vulnerabilities across our networks, systems, applications, and processes. As an innovative thinker, you will go beyond standard vulnerability assessments, developing and utilizing unique tools and techniques to identify and exploit security gaps.

Your primary responsibilities will involve conducting comprehensive Red Team exercises to identify vulnerabilities in diverse environments such as cloud-hosted and web-based applications, API interfaces, databases, big data environments, networks, computer systems, mobile applications, Software Defined Networks, and IoT devices and systems. You will design and develop custom tools and methodologies to enhance our security testing capabilities and employ creative tactics to uncover weaknesses, including poor user practices and weak security methods. Working collaboratively with other Red Team members and Security Analysts, you will identify and exploit security issues, characterize cyber-attack vectors, and discover related vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations for remediation.

Privileged Access Onboarding & Support

  • Coordinate onboarding of application, database, and service accounts into CyberArk and accounts managed via Delinea AD Bridging.

  • Work with support teams to integrate Linux/UNIX systems into Active Directory via Delinea AD Bridging, enforcing centralized access controls and policies.

  • Support the use of CyberArk CPM, CCP, and ASCP for password rotation and secrets injection into applications and services.

  • Guide teams through best practices for vaulting, access policy mapping, and account lifecycle operations.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Enablement

  • Act as a liaison between PAM engineers and business, support, and engineering teams.

  • Provide onboarding coordination, working with stakeholders to ensure requirements are gathered, documentation is completed, and technical tasks are scheduled.

  • Deliver training sessions, office hours, and onboarding workshops for internal users integrating with PAM.

Security Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure PAM onboarding follows security policies and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST).

  • Maintain onboarding checklists, status trackers, and audit documentation.

  • Support access certification, audit responses, and reviews for onboarded accounts.

Troubleshooting & Operational Support

  • Assist teams with technical issues related to account integration, password rotation, or access failures.

  • Escalate and coordinate with PAM engineering or vendor support as needed.

  • Document common use cases, troubleshooting steps, and onboarding standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years in Privileged Access Management solutions, Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management, or IT operations with exposure to PAM solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with CyberArk (CPM, CCP, ASCP) and Delinea AD Bridging for Linux/UNIX systems.

  • Understanding of Active Directory integration, LDAP, and centralized access control for non-Windows systems.

  • Familiarity with onboarding database privileged accounts and managing service account lifecycle.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially when working with cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CyberArk or Delinea certifications.

  • Familiarity with compliance requirements like HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53.

  • Scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) is a plus.

  • Experience with onboarding into hybrid or cloud environments (Azure).

About the Job:

The Lead Cybersecurity is a development position, scope of work includes participating in scrum team ceremonies, reviewing, and approving software requirements, solutions, estimating LOE, writing code, testing & reviewing code before delivering completed assignments. Individual must prove competency with writing secure code, following clean code practices, as well as being proficient with use of developer tooling and platforms. In addition to writing code for assigned stories, this role includes prepare and provide necessary documentation and responses during audit processes, ,client and production tier 3 support tasks, assisting with trouble shooting issues and being available to quickly mitigate security issues (including prompt resolution of any bug bounty tickets, addressing exploits occurring in the application environments). This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Write code for IT systems involved with IAM and UAM solutions.

  • Includes ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects.

  • Prepare and provide necessary documentation and responses during audit processes.

  • Analysis, of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk.

  • Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&Ts cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams.

  • Develops policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers.

  • Applies measures to block malicious code and applications. Includes forward looking research, planning and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats, and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Cyber Security.

  • Requires 5-8 years of related experience.

  • Requires knowledge of Java 17, Spring boot 3.x+, Spring JDBC Template, log4j, JUnit, Oracle DB, GITHUB, JFROG, JSON, Tomcat, Apache andAngular

  • Strong scripting knowledge.

  • Knowledge in implementing the File Integrity Monitoring (FIM) process, experience with enterprise Identity Lifecycle Management, and proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Python, and Apache server are advantageous.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity risks and controls for applications.

  • Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week). No relocation assistance is provided.
