• Lead the design and execution of scalable learning experiences for Airbnb Hosts across a variety of formats, including in-product education, workshops, toolkits, videos, interactive content, assessments, articles, and live events.
• Work closely with LX leads to transform strategic briefs into tangible solutions and clear production plans that drive progress from concept to execution with rigor and clarity.
• Apply your multidisciplinary design expertise to all stages of creative production, from bringing early ideas to life with low-fidelity sketches and prototypes through to final delivery of polished, high-quality assets.
• Deliver educational content that is insight-driven, beautifully crafted, and aligned with Airbnb’s brand and learning standards.
• Collaborate closely with LX strategy and production leads, the host community, and cross-functional partners in product, marketing, legal, and policy.
• Ensure all educational experiences meet standards for brand consistency, instructional quality, and accessibility for a global audience.
• Design with a deep understanding of how people learn—creating experiences that engage, motivate, and drive meaningful action. Background in behavioral or learning sciences is a plus.
• Lead projects through the full development lifecycle—setting timelines, ensuring quality, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders for successful implementation.

• 10+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or educational content creation, preferably in tech, product, or media settings.
• Skilled in multiple instructional disciplines, including curriculum design, storytelling, instructional video, short-format content, visual design, peer learning, and/or interactive experience design.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging learning content.
• Demonstrated expertise developing and delivering learning experiences across diverse formats and channels—live, digital, and in-product.
• Proficient in tools such as Figma, Keynote, video editing software, UX design platforms and CMS/LMS systems; familiarity with generative AI tools for learning is a plus.
• Proven track record of developing and leading learning programs that drive measurable impact.
• Experience creating scaled educational programs for global audiences, with awareness and sensitivity to cultural, regional, and generational differences.
• History of delivering premium-quality creative work, with experience collaborating with external creative partners such as editors, videographers, producers, and localization teams.

Our Payments product organization has 2 domains:

• Payments and Commerce Platform - facilitating money movement and exchange of value while also fueling growth for our business
• Payments Risk and Compliance - ensuring safe and efficient payment processing

A Typical Day:

• Drive Payments funds & ledger vision and strategy
• Develop and execute a comprehensive multi year roadmaps that supports the measurement and optimization of payments at scale
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Analytics, Partnerships, Treasury, Finance, Tax and Product Management to define requirements, prioritize features and align goals
• Develop compelling and clear product narratives and requirement documents. Develop hypotheses based experiments, define clear success metrics and detailed roll out plans
• Define and analyze KPIs that inform success & health
• Drive the integration of partner products and services to enhance our platform capabilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive playbooks that support the resolution of top processing challenges for our community

Your Expertise:

• 10+ years in a product management role working on global payment platforms
• Deep experience in building financial reporting, and ledger products within Payments
• Familiarity with the broader payments ecosystem consisting of PSPs, acquirers and networks
• You grasp the fundamentals of funds management, financial transactions, and ledger systems.
• You have familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger structures, and accounting principles.
• Take ownership of day-to-day product management, execution and payment escalations
• Platform product management experience, building products that can be leveraged by a variety of business customers
• Ability to work directly with engineers to develop use cases, build inspiring narratives, prioritize features, and evaluate short-term vs. long-term trade-offs
• Ability to lead by influence across a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, finance, treasury, compliance, legal, and business experts
• Ability to clearly articulate the story for what problem you’re solving for and the vision you’re going after, combined with the capacity to dive into minute details when necessary
