As a Payroll Supervisor working in the tech industry, you will be responsible for leading a team of payroll professionals to manage their payroll operations accurately, efficiently and compliantly. You will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work well with others. You’ll have ultimate responsibility for ensuring delivering timely and accurate payroll processing, analysis and reporting.
The main duties include overseeing a team of payroll staff, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws, developing and sustaining training and implementation of payroll processes, creating reports and maintaining accurate data, troubleshooting payroll-related issues and verifying accuracy of employee pay amounts. Additionally, you must stay abreast of industry regulations, practices and procedures related to payroll in the tech industry and you may get the opportunity to present at conferences and seminars.
The ideal applicant for this role has experience in payroll within the tech industry, excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to find solutions for problems and the commitment to provide quality customer service.
