As a Business Banking Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing long-term client relationships with business owners as they finance their businesses and related activities. You will also manage credit and asset risk profiles of clients, working with key business partners to engage in sales activities, and drive new-client acquisition.
Your ability to assess customer needs and provide customized solutions that meet customer needs and provide excellent customer service is essential to achieving success. You must be well-versed in business products and services, understand the risks associated with each product and be aware of government and regulatory requirements.
Effective communication and strong customer service skills are essential, as you’ll be expected to build working relationships with customers and other business partners, as well as maintain existing accounts. You may also provide training to client employees and customers on applicable products, services and general banking to increase and maintain customer loyalty.
You must possess a solid knowledge of financial and lending processes, and have a track record of successful customer relationship management. Experience in Microsoft Office Applications and comfortable working with customer databases is important.
Finally, you are highly motivated, with a passion for financial services, business banking and customer service.
