  • Set, monitor, and analyze KPIs that keep our claims handling in top-notch shape, driving accountability to deliver operational claims excellence, partnering closely with internal and external teams to achieve these objectives

  • Keep our processes and policies perfectly aligned with regulatory standards and the Lemonade way

  • Manage and optimize claims-related expenses to keep our costs efficient and loss adjustment expenses (LAE) accurate

  • Lead, inspire, and elevate a team of claims rockstars, including leaders, cultivating a culture of excellence and scale the team to meet evolving needs

  • Unleash your data wizardry to pull, decode, and share complex insights across the organization, empowering smart decisions and spotlighting opportunities to boost department awesomeness

  • Partner with legends across Lemonade—whether in Actuarial, Underwriting, Product Development, or Communications—to ensure a synchronized and strategic approach to claims management

What You’ll Need
  • 10+ years of experience in P&C claims, with an emphasis on property claims

  • 3+ years in a senior leadership role within the claims world

  • Proven skills in managing and scaling a big team, with a knack for leading leaders and nurturing emerging talent

  • Passion for AI and technology, with a track record of leveraging digital tools to enhance business outcomes and customer satisfaction

  • Stellar strategic thinking with a track record of using data analytics for shining up processes

  • Expertise in pulling, interpreting, and weaving data insights into engaging narratives for stakeholders across all levels

  • Unmatched problem-solving chops, with an intuitive sense of when to dive into details and when to steer the ship from a strategic horizon

  • Experience working hand-in-hand with TPAs and managing partner relationships

  • Bachelor’s degree, required; bonus points for advanced degrees or industry certifications (e.g., CPCU)

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

  • Ability to work in a remote environment
