What you will be doing
- Owning end-to-end feature development - from designing scalable backend services to crafting intuitive UI components.
- Brainstorming feature design, system architecture improvements and troubleshooting.
- Building and integrating cutting-edge generative AI capabilities into our products through APIs and custom implementations.
- Writing clean, maintainable and testable code, and inspiring others to do the same.
- Mentoring junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
- 2+ years backend development experience building production-grade systems (hopefully with Python).
- 2+ years experience with modern frontend development including expertise in React or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails -a plus
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid experience with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Deep knowledge of computer science including (but not limited to): Operating Systems, Algorithms, Concurrency and Data Structures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices -a plus
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts and ML system integration -a plus
- Expected salary range is $173,000-209,000.
