Description
You will be using and improving upon the latest advancements in machine learning and software engineering to understand user queries and intents, retrieve and rank documents and generate helpful answers and work on horizontal areas on data generation, evaluation and safety.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of industry related experience, working in collaborative environments
  • Experience with using: PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX for training and deploying deep learning models
  • Understanding product requirements then translating them into modeling tasks and engineering tasks
  • Proficient in at least two programming languages such as: C/C++, Go, Python, Java
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advance degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Analyzing search ranking and relevance requirements issues and opportunities
  • Building machine-learned models for search relevance ranking query understanding and questioning
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
