As ahere at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, anddebugging of embedded software and firmware. With your expertise in C, C++, andembedded programming, you will collaborate cross-functionally to define systemrequirements and specifications, ensuring the efficient and timely completionof embedded software projects. Ideally, you will have knowledge of embeddedLinux and Honeywell products, be familiar with DevSecOps environments andCI/CD.
In this role, you will havethe opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge embedded systems that powerinnovative solutions in various domains. Your technical expertise andleadership will be crucial in driving the design and development ofhigh-quality embedded software solutions.
You will report directly tothe Esser brand design authority, and you'll work out of our Lugoj, Romanialocation on awork schedule.

• Lead the design, development,and testing of embedded software solutions
• Collaborate with projectmanagers and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Provide technical expertise introubleshooting and resolving complex software issues
• Work closely with hardwareengineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamlessintegration of software with hardware components
• Implement and oversee robusttesting procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of embedded software
• Conduct code reviews to identifyand address potential issues early in the development process

• University degree (MSc preferred) in Software engineering or related field
• 6+ years of experience in design and development of embedded software solutions
• Comprehensive knowledge of C and C++. Other languages a plus
• Strong understanding of hardware and software integration, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work under minimal supervision while demonstrating a strong sense of urgency to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results

• Knowledge of embedded operating systems (OS), real-time operating systems (RTOS), or Linux
• Familiarity with DevSecOps environments and CI/CD
