Join Global Security to lead our Strategic Threats team to strategize, socialize, and implement a cutting-edge program which requires significant critical thinking, creativity, complex problem solving and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across a large global organization to identify and mitigate strategic threats.

Job responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction in managing a program with multiple workstreams.
  • Establish and leverage collaborative partnerships to identify solutions to help identify and mitigate potential nation state-related threats to the firm.
  • Oversee the development and launch of a program focused on the firm’s highest risk positions, to include complex program management over both technical and operational requirements
  • Support the controls environment, data integrity, metrics, and trends analysis.
  • Communicate complex strategic threat issues in a way that is understandable to a variety of audiences and present structured senior management updates on program initiatives.
  • Work hand in hand with multiple offices within Global Security, other internal partners, and external partners, to develop meaningful, culture-specific, education and awareness to help mitigate risks to the firm and the workforce.
  • Enhance and manage detailed project plans, including definition of roles, responsibilities and milestones.
  • Present structured senior management updates, including but not limited to summarizing activities related to program timeline and deliverables.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience leading teams involved in assessing complex threats from nation state actors
  • Experience leveraging critical thinking skills to strategize and demonstrate ‘out of the box’ thinking and creativity in order to solve complex problems and deliver results in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise-wide risk/security initiatives
  • Experience conducting counterintelligence or insider threat related investigations
  • Experience in effectively understanding, analyzing, and communicating complex risks, specifically people risks.
  • Ability to handle a high level of pressure associated with complex projects in a demanding customer environment and ability to communicate those projects to all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Strong communication, writing and analysis skills, along with negotiation and influence skills with all levels of organization as well as the ability to influence people who do not report to you in order to achieve results
  • Ability to create and deliver effective and compelling presentations using PowerPoint and conduct data analysis.
  • Minimum of an Undergraduate degree, related to Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, Political Science or related field.
  • Must be a highly-motivated individual who possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to handle significant complexity and work through ambiguity, be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities, and be comfortable dealing with and leading in a sometimes stressful and fast-paced, priority-driven environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Program management experience
  • Familiarity with Agile development
  • Aligned Master’s degree
