As a Business Testing Analysis – Senior Associate, in Cross Product Change Services (CPCS) team, you will provide business testing analysis for the Depositary Services function within the Securities Services. You will work in a cross-business and cross-functional project-based environment. You will also have the flexibility to offer testing expertise across other Lines Of Businesses and support transformational global initiatives within Cross Product Change Services.
Job responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans for scheduled projects and releases.
- Provide accurate testing estimates during daily scrum meetings.
- Create test cases that encompass all scenarios, including end-to-end testing.
- Utilize Jira for comprehensive test management activities, including test case documentation, execution, and defect tracking.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance testing processes for assigned projects, and share insights with team members for validation before implementation.
- Oversee the monitoring and reporting of testing defects and manage the re-testing process.
- Act as a deputy for the Test Manager in project calls and communications with relevant stakeholders.
- Validate and present test results for internal sign-off.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Relevant testing experience within the Financial Services industry, supporting multiple lines of business (LOBs) in a highly complex, pressurized, and high-volume environment.
- Expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and the ability to learn and work with evolving methodologies.
- Experience in testing processes to define requirements, document user stories, and test scripts through to test execution.
- Skilled at problem solving, ability to scope and provide structure to complex issues, rapidly learn unfamiliar processes and provide insightful and timely remediation.
- Excellent attention to detail so errors can be prevented and redundancies / opportunities highlighted.
- Very strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and succinct verbal updates on their work to team members, colleagues, senior leads, executives, and clients.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, manage personnel & team management in order to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Ability to build and nurture effective and lasting relationships with colleagues, team members, and stakeholders across multiple business lines and global locations.
- Able to work comfortably and assuredly under pressure to achieve target deadlines.
- Self-starter, able to work independently, with strong time management skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience in Securities Services, specifically in the Depositary Service function
- Working knowledge of direct testing with Clearing Houses and Central Banks
- Project / Agile methodology Qualification
