Key job responsibilities
- Develop supply chain network models on a quantitative basis using analysis tools and supply chain modeling and simulation software
- Create digital mechanisms to perform supply chain network cost and time studies
- Develop mathematical models for use by enterprise resource planning systems to perform least cost routing determination
- Develop and maintain digital twin of the end-to-end supply chain network
A day in the life
You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones, diving deep into data and analytics to solve complex supply chain challenges. Your day might involve developing or refining network models, analyzing global supply, demand and operational data, or preparing compelling presentations for senior leadership. You'll balance strategic thinking with practical implementation, always keeping the customer experience at the forefront of your decisions.

- 5+ years of end-to-end supply chain network design using simulation modeling tools
- 5+ year of experience with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or equivalent) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, or equivalent)
- Experience with statistical models e.g. multinomial logistics regression, monte carlo simulations, centroid analyses
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Engineering Discipline or Master’s Degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
- Tools: Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution Simulation tools, Arena, FlexSim, Simul8, AnyLogic, SupplyChainGuru, or similar simulation tools
- Experience with big data technologies and ETL tools
- Experience modeling and designing materials distribution and logistics networks, both supply and demand sides
- End to end supply chain modeling and design starting from raw materials flow to manufacturing capacity to finished goods to store and forward
- Regional and cross border international logistics modeling
- Inventory origination and placement strategies
