Job Description

As a Machine Learning Engineer in the Applied AI Group, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of problems within the Flash BU with an emphasis on speeding up development in the Flash Product Engineering organization using machine learning techniques.

You will be a good fit if you :

  • Have knowledge of machine learning at the intermediate level or higher
  • Like working on systems and tools that make people more productive
  • Are results-oriented with a bias towards action and impact
  • Pick up slack, even if it goes outside your job description
  • Enjoy collaborating with someone for a large part of your daily work (such as pair programming, learning and discussing new research together)
  • Want to learn more about machine learning research at the cutting edge
  • Understand critical parts of the FPE development process in detail (Examples would be Firmware development, Validation, Testing)

Example projects that you might pursue :

  • Generative AI for code debugging/compliance
  • Test generation and optimization using generative AI
  • Optimal test coverage and ordering using reinforcement learning
  • Automated requirement entry and processing on Polarion
  • FA turn around time reduction using machine learning
Qualifications

You may be a strong candidate if you have:

  • Experience coding in Python/C++
  • Experience deploying applications on the cloud (AWS)
  • Worked with popular Machine learning libraries such as Tensorflow/Keras
  • Handled large datasets programmatically
  • A degree in quantitative fields such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
