Our current developer stack includes mostly C++ and C# Code bases. Dashboard and microservice coordination use Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) along with SQL integrations, some Mongo and Webservices that communicate through ReST and Google Remote Procedure Calls (GRPC). Our source control uses legacy Source Gear whereas our DevOps uses Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence) along with Jenkins. Web pages work is both in ASP.NET (legacy) as well as TypeScript / Bootstrap web pages communicating with backend over ReST / GRPC.Skills Highly Sought After:

  • C# Architecture and best practices
  • DevOps / Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD)
  • NuGet package Creation and Consumption
  • Jenkins or other DevOps infrastructure for managing commits, builds, and testing
  • Git, especially Bitbucket and GitHub experience
  • Microsoft Web API (ReST)
  • Google Remote Procedure Call (gRPC)
  • Typescript / JavaScript and Simple web design using Bootstrap
  • Microsoft SQL Server


Nice to have Skills:

  • C++
  • Encryption / Security Best Practices
  • Python / Jupyter Notebooks
  • SourceGear or SourceSafe
  • MS Build and Visual Studio / VS Code experience

Experience

  • Somewhere between a Senior and Principal software position with more than 7 years of experience, with some portion of that time spent designing or managing in a DevOps environment
