Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical experience in software engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience with large-scale search stack infrastructure, including retrieval and ranking.
• 2+ years experience with recent search technologies including LLM/SLM and deep learning models.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience modernizing complex engineering systems.
• Exceptional communication abilities, with a demonstrated history of effectively conveying complex engineering issues and solutions to a target audience, often consisting of partners.
• Knowledge of Bing runtime stack.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with data science as it relates to training and evaluating AI models.
