EY – Consulting – AI &DATA – Manager - Power BI Architect
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence stack especially Power BI
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience on Snowflake

- Demonstrates proficiency in the development and administration at least one of the following areas:
- Back-end data integration and architecture including dimensional data modeling, database design, data warehousing, ETL development, and performance tuning
- Front-end reporting and analytics platforms including OLAP cube design, tabular data modeling, Performance Point, Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI Report and Dashboard development
- Extremely strong SQL skills
- Expertise in Snowflake
- Foundational knowledge of the following areas:
- Metadata management
- Master Data Management
- Data Governance
- Data Analytics
- Deep experience in Kimball and Inmon modeling techniques
- Experience leading or working with Agile development methodology
- Willing to establish strong work relationships with clients and team members
- Ability to generate ideas and understand different points of view
Job Summary:
- Oversee and support the design, development and implementation of data warehousing, reporting and analytics solutions that deliver information efficiently, with the end goal to solve business challenges and achieve business objectives
- Provide oversight and expertise in Data Modeling and Database Design
- Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, OLAP cubes, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle
- Documentation of source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and database design
- Identify areas of improvement to optimize data flows
- Installation and Administration of Microsoft SQL Server
- Lead and mentor junior resources
- Support business development efforts (proposals and client presentations)
- Identify opportunities to add value to the client's organization by effective use of information management
- Build relationships with key stakeholders responsible for information and performance management in client's organization
- Estimate effort and cost
