As an Embedded Software Team Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead a talented team of engineers in code review, bug tracking, and root cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain software solutions balancing functionality, performance, and robustness.
• Collaborate with team members on task planning, time management, and project prioritization.
• Provide technical mentorship and contribute to performance evaluations.

We are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of technical leadership experience in related fields
• Strong ability to multitask, handle priority shifts, and perform under pressure
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in networking and firewall systems
• Proficient in C programming on embedded systems and Python scripting
• Deep knowledge of Linux (user space and device drivers), as well as the development toolchain.
• Solid understanding of OS/kernel interaction; experience with hardware drivers (PC or SoC) is a plus.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  

The Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $170,000 - $200,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, and experience.
