Beyond the technical implementation, you'll serve as the bridge between our product's data and the broader data ecosystem. You'll develop deep expertise in our data domain, partnering with business stakeholders to enable data-driven decisions through both ad-hoc analysis and self-service dashboards. Working closely with software engineers and business teams, you'll ensure high-quality, reliable data flows throughout the entire lifecycle.Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations with external data sources and systems
- Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines that ensure reliable, scalable data intake- Monitor and optimize performance of data ingestion processes
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data export pipelines using AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda)
- Build relationships with downstream data warehouse teams and data consumers to understand their needs and requirements
- Ensure data quality and consistency across all exported datasets
- Implement monitoring and alerting for data pipeline health and performance
- Design and build self-service dashboards and reports using visualization tools
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on data availability, structure, and best practices for data consumption- Continuously improve data infrastructure and processes for scalability and efficiency

- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines

- Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., TypeScript, Python)
