Reporting to the

What a typical day looks like:

  • Perform rack and stack of servers, storage, and networking equipment.
  • Manage structured cabling installations (fiber and copper), ensuring optimal organization and labeling.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve hardware, network, and infrastructure issues.
  • Perform routine hardware inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to prevent downtime.
  • Implement and enforce data center security and access control policies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of hardware inventory, cabling diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with vendors and service providers for equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in managing procurement, deployments, and decommissioning of IT assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and data center migrations.
  • Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling efforts
  • Utilize basic data analytics skills to assess system performance and optimize data center efficiency.
  • Generate reports on power usage, cooling efficiency, hardware failures, and performance trends.
  • Support compliance with corporate and industry standards by maintaining proper documentation and audits.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • 8+ years of experience in data center operations, with expertise in server, networking, and storage infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware installation, cabling best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with data center monitoring tools and ability to analyze performance metrics.
  • Experience with project management principles and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Vendor management experience, including procurement, contract negotiations, and service coordination.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Onsite availability
  • On Call & Travel availability between Kent, WA and Lynnwood, WA.

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate $92,100.00 USD - $126,600.00 USD Annual
