Conduct daily analysis of exposure (pre settlement exposure) variances to identify potential issues in the Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) space.
Work with partners/stakeholders across the organization to determine root causes and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Assist in risk mitigation efforts for a wide range of products including Over The Counter (OTC) derivatives, Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs), Mortgage Backed Securities, and Fixed income/cash transactions.
Maintain reasonability checks on crucial risk/finance attributes.
Promote more effective use of existing tools and processes (and eliminate those that are not used or are ineffectual)
Focus on Data Quality resolution and track progress of various data quality projects, including technology initiatives and Issues for Management Resolution
Work with technology and other key stakeholders in system/model changes impacting Pre Settlement Exposure calculation.
Support the development of risk analysis tools and systems, including defining the interface requirements and logic as well as testing and post-release training.
Collaborate with various business stakeholders and senior management on ad-hoc requests related to regulatory concerns and data analysis.
Qualifications:
0-2 years relevant experience
Relevant experience with Tableau/MS Access/Excel is a plus
Strong verbal, written, communication skills and attention to details
Resourcefulness with ability to gather, synthesize, and present findings from disparate sources
Experience with focus in financial services/products/risk management.
Education:
Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
