In this role you

Will Act as Manufacturing Engineer and/product quality at Suppliers (source) to drive problem solving, first time right, DFMAT and process enhancement

Your role:

  • Proactively monitoring and measuring product/process quality and performance trends and troubleshooting of production/release issues.
  • Act as supplier engineering Singe Point of Contact to develop, support, and drive equipment qualification and process validation andverification plansand lead continuous improvement projects based on process/product trends, customer complaints, industry standards and government regulations.
  • Assuring quality systems of OEMs, manufacturers and suppliers are maintained and acceptance criteria are in alignment with component/product use and customer expectations.
  • Providing Quality oversight of product/process change requests from suppliers, ensuring appropriate regulatory review and adequate validation to support requested changes.
  • Serving as internal and supplier quality auditor, managing planning, execution, reporting and closure of audits and audit findings.

You're the right fit if:

  • 3+ years of experience in Supplier Quality with a manufacturing or product quality focus.
  • Your skills include the ability to demonstrate technical innovation, technical leadership, mechanical and or electrical engineering, understanding of and adherence to GMP practices and FDA regulations and the knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience to successfully perform the essential function of the job
  • Experienced in DFMAT (Design for manufacturability and testability) and process enhancement at suppliers. Understand and able to apply DFMEA to review CTS/CTQ (Critical to Safey and Quality) for Process Validation and Validation plan at suppliers.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

The pay range for this position in Plymouth MN is $87,000 to $100,000, Annually.
