Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with Mechanical/HVAC in mission-critical facility environments, e.g., data centers, hospitals, power plants, or production factories.
- Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg ) of equipment, use of safety equipment, ladders, and personal protective equipment aligned with guidelines.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with cross functional stakeholders in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in maintenance of mechanical/cooling distribution systems or construction/technical environments or a related field.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems used in a data center environment (e.g., Chillers, Air handling units, pumps and Computer Room Air Conditioning/Computer Room Air Handling (CRAC/CRAH) units).
- Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting with utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data center systems.
- Ability to communicate in Bahasa Melayu fluently in order to communicate with local stakeholders.
