What you will do:
Develop, debug, and support Linux kernel filesystem code.
Develop, debug, and support filesystem user space applications.
Review code written by others.
Use and improve filesystem testing infrastructure.
Triage and resolve filesystem bugs reported by customers and QE.
Coordinate with team leads, architects, and other engineers to design solutions.
Quickly respond to security threats
What you will bring:
Advanced knowledge of the C programming language -
Advanced knowledge of the Linux operating system and Linux distributions - Experience with git
Ability to debug complex problems - Solid written and verbal English communication skills
The following are considered a plus:
Kernel development experience
Storage and/or filesystem development or administration experience
Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, and Bugzilla is a big plus
Experience interacting with open source communities
Experience with rpm-based Linux distributions
