In this position...

• The Engineer III, Occupational Safety, working under general direction, working as a contributing team member, is responsible for applying technical safety standards, principles, theories, and concepts, to independently develop approaches to solutions for a wide range of difficult occupational safety problems such as hazard control and prevention, safety systems and equipment, compliance, risk, etc. with consistency in a timely manner.
• The role coordinates with other team members to implement plant-wide safety processes such as the Company’s Safety Operating System (SOS), emergency response planning, safety training, and the application of technical standards, principles, theories, and concepts.
• The role would also work with senior engineers and managers to contribute to the completion of milestones within specific projects as per function priorities.
